Objects for carrying

Most of the hand-built ceramic vessels and pedestals in this installation were completed by during a residency in Mparntwe / Alice Springs. The works incorporate found metal elements, which often provide a starting point for form and narrative, and feature the patina-like glazes and mark-making that have characterised my work in recent years. This work considers the spaces that emerge between objects, and how one form may be altered by its relationship to another.
